Together, Dr. Barton’s team brings over 44 years of Orthodontic experience to their patients and an additional 46 years of general and specialty dental knowledge! Our team prides itself on providing a professional, but fun treatment environment. We recognize that are patients are an integral part of our team and it is important to all of us that we help you to reach your treatment goals. By providing excellent patient education, instruction and giving you encouragement along the way, we are confident that you will get a great treatment result!

Carolyn Adams

CarolynOur Financial Coordinator, has enjoyed working with Dr. Barton since 2001. She brings over 18 years of dental knowledge to our office. She resides in Ceres with her husband, Dan and three beautiful children, Jessica, Josh and Juli. As a family, they enjoy traveling to Yosemite, Disneyland and Hawaii and spending time together with their dog, Tinkerbell. Carolyn has a gift of making patients and parents feel welcome in our office and “loves seeing all the beautiful smiles each day”!

Lisa Marie Ruezga

LisaOur Scheduling Coordinator, is one of the newest members to Dr. Barton’s team. She brings five years of dental knowledge to our office. She is “enjoying learning about orthodontics in a professional, fun, and caring environment”. She has been married for 10 years and has two adorable children and a Chihuahua. In her spare time, Lisa Marie enjoys shopping, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Debbie Mello, RDA

DebbieHas been part of Dr. Barton’s Clinical Treatment Team since 1997. She has over 16 years of experience in the dental field. She is a Ceres local and lives with her husband, Keith and three terrific children, Mark, Eric, and Ashley. Debbie is excited about “being part of the beautiful smiles that we made possible through orthodontic treatment in our office”.

Cheryl Brager, RDA

CherylOur Laboratory Technician, has been part of Dr. Barton’s team since 2000. She brings nearly 20 years of dental knowledge and experience to our practice. She is married and is the mother of two wonderful daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering with her daughter’s Girl Scout Troup. Her family also volunteers raising Guide Dog puppies for the blind. Cheryl “loves seeing the patients mature and grow during treatment and the beautiful smiles they enjoy”.

Renee McDaniel, RDA

ReneeHas been part of Dr. Barton’s Clinical Treatment Team since 2002 . She is married to a loving husband and has an adorable year-old son and a brand new baby girl. Her interests include, Harley Davidson motorcycles, VW buses, and going to church. Renee “loves working in orthodontics and getting to visit with her patients each month”.

Kristine Sommers, RDA

KristineOur Treatment Coordinator, has been with us since 2000 and has brought over 16 years of orthodontic experience and knowledge to Dr. Barton’s team. She has been married for over seven years and has two wonderful children, Melissa and Kai. They enjoy boating, camping, swimming and scuba diving. Kristine has “had the pleasure of helping to create lots of beautiful smiles” and she “treasures the relationships and memories that my patients have given her”. Her goal is to make your treatment experience a great one!

Heather Mizerak, RDA

HeatherIs the newest addition to Dr. Barton’s Clinical Treatment Team. She brings with her two years of dental knowledge. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping occasionally, and going to baseball games. Heather “enjoys the field of Orthodontics very much”.

Linda Henlin

Is our Office Administrator. Linda maintains the office bookkeeping and patient insurance claims.

Lisa Barton, RDH

LisaHas been married to Dr. Barton for 17 years. Together they have a awesome daughter and are in the process of adopting two children from Russia. Lisa is a registered dental hygienist and has 14 years of combined experience in dental hygiene and orthodontics. Since the practice opened in 1995, she has become experienced in all aspects of orthodontics from clinical treatment to front office administration. Lisa has “had the pleasure of getting to know so many wonderful families”. There are so many things Lisa loves about orthodontics, but her “biggest thrill is when a patient that disliked their smile (and either did not smile or only did so behind a hand) comes into the office with a newfound air of confidence and when you greet them they smile from ear to ear. That’s what the gift of orthodontics is all about…giving joy and self-confidence to patients”.
